Overview

Exploring ways to learn No-Code tools, I wanted to create something related to my passions. Two of my primary passions are my grandchildren, and road trips as a family. Last year we took the grandkids on a trip and they did a scavenger hunt as we drove. I wish I could have had a way for them to be more fully engaged with the scavenger hunt.

Solution

A mobile app that the grandchildren could use on their phones or tablet is a great solution for this problem. The app will allow them to see the list of items that they need to find, take pictures of the items once they’ve found them, and see a Gunk-O-Meter to let them know how close they are to completing the scavenger hunt.

Role

For this solution I was the creative genius, with the help of Google Gemini, and I was the App Developer with the help of Glide. Using both tools for this project allowed me to see the possibilities currently available to create apps using AI and No-Code tools.
