Overview
Papa’s Properties had a million dollar plus real estate listing that wasn’t getting the attention they needed. So, I endeavored to help them build a showcase website for the listing, as well as automate data capture for sales leads, and engage their listing agent through automated notifications. Not only was this a fun project, it helped me see some great options available for automation and lead generation.
Solution
There are some great tools that can handle different pieces of this project, but one stood out above the rest. Zapier allows for the creation of an interface/form to collect interested leads. It also allows for the storing of information from those lead forms in a database table, and even further, the zaps function within Zapier allows for the automation needed for the sales lead notifications. Further, the solution from Zapier also allows for an integration with gmail to be able to automate sending emails as well. The automation flow editor within Zapier also made it a win-win to be able visualize what the automation would do and test each step from form submission to email notification. I also learned of a tool I wasn’t aware of called emailnator that allows for a temporary email address that can be used for email automation testing like this.
Role
Working through this project required some branding work with the help of Google Gemini again. I also needed to work as a real estate consultant to help design the landing page to attract the upscale buyers for this property. Additionally, I worked as the automation engineer to connect all the pieces to accomplish these needs. Using these new tools for this project allowed me to see the ease with which No-Code development tools can be leveraged to automate tasks and store information efficiently.
